Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CaraDesk collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit caradesk.com/ca, send us a request, talk to our AI manager or otherwise communicate with us, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws. CaraDesk is operated by Novablaze Technologies, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, with its registered office at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA (“CaraDesk”, “we”, “us”).
The short version. We collect the details you send us — your name, work email, phone number, company and message — with your consent, to reply to you and prepare a setup plan and price. We don't sell your information, we don't use advertising cookies on this website, and you can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Requests and contact details: name, work email, phone number, company name, website, the products you're interested in, your time zone, and anything you write in your message.
- Communications: emails, text or WhatsApp messages you exchange with us.
- Live video chat with Ashley: if you start the live video chat on our website, your microphone audio is streamed to our AI provider (Google) to generate Ashley's spoken replies in real time, and the conversation is transcribed while it happens. After the chat we keep a short written summary of what was discussed and agreed, plus any contact details you choose to give Ashley, and share them with our sales team so we can follow up. We don't keep audio or video recordings of these chats, and we never turn on your camera.
- Calls with our AI sales rep: if you call our sales line or ask us to call you, we record and transcribe the call to respond to you and to improve our service. We tell you at the start of the call that it's being recorded.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: our hosting provider logs your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request, so we can keep the site secure and working.
- Referral data: if you arrive from an ad or a link, we may receive campaign parameters (such as utm_source) and the referring page, and store them with your request.
- Cookies: this website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies, and our fonts are served from our own servers. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
2. Why we collect it
- To respond to your request and email you a tailored setup plan and price.
- To contact you about your request by email and — if you consented — by phone call or text message.
- To prepare a proposal and, if you become a customer, to provide and support our services.
- To keep our website secure, prevent abuse and comply with the law.
We collect, use and disclose personal information only with your consent or as the law permits. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
3. Commercial electronic messages (CASL)
We send commercial electronic messages only with your express or implied consent, as Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) allows. Every such message identifies CaraDesk and includes a way to unsubscribe, which we honour within 10 business days. You can also reply STOP to a text or email us at privacy@caradesk.com.
4. Disclosure to service providers
We don't sell personal information. We share it with service providers that help us run our business — for example, website hosting (Vercel), email, messaging (such as WhatsApp and Telegram), telephony (such as Twilio) and AI model providers (such as Google) that process content on our behalf to deliver our services. They are bound by contract to protect it and use it only to provide services to us.
5. Processing outside Canada
CaraDesk and some of our service providers are located outside Canada, including in the United States. Your information may therefore be processed and stored outside Canada and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of those countries under their laws. Residents of Quebec: where the law requires, we assess the protection your information will receive before it is communicated outside Quebec.
6. Retention and safeguards
We keep requests and related communications only as long as needed for the purposes above, generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact, and then delete or anonymize them. We protect information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access.
7. Access, correction and complaints
You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, by emailing our privacy officer at privacy@caradesk.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca, or your provincial privacy regulator.
8. Our customers' data
When a business uses CaraDesk to talk to its own customers, we process that information on the business's behalf. Requests about that information should go to the business directly; we'll help them respond.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new date. Questions: privacy@caradesk.com.
